Good morning SW 👋

When you pick up your phone, what's the three first things you do on the phone?

For me:

1. Put on wifi

2. Check weather app

3. Check WhatsApp messages

1. Look at my notifications.
2. Check and delete emails as necessary.
3. Three is a toss up. I either check my bank balances or come to SW.

@Musicman I seem to be the only one that ignores /have notifications disabled except notifications for phone updates.

Wait. You delete emails the first thing you do? God that's the a boring way to start the day 😴 I take a day once in a blue moon where I mass delete everything in my mail.

I love that SW is as valuable as your bank account 😂

Everytime I check my bank account I go "Time to see the damage"

@Queendragonfly I can't stand seeing a bunch of email notifications and I get so many emails. I actually delete them multiple times a day.

@Musicman Ahh. See I don't have email notifications. I know whenever I have something there to look for and open the app.

My dad mails me but then he calls me and text message me and go "Check your email!!"

And my parcels I send or wait on I know what time they're about to deliver so I put a note in my calender and check the email those specific days. I also get a text message when they have arrived.

If there's something wrong with my salary my economic accountant will mail me ,but as long as she send me a approval letter each month I know everything is in it's order.

The "Forgotten password" links whenever I'm on a site I haven't used in a long time I'll check the second I ask for a making a new password.

Other than those it's just ads and spam.

@Queendragonfly I usually get between 100 and 200 emails a day. Drives me crazy. I am supposed to be retired.

@Musicman From ads or companies or friends or what? Are they all something to respond on? And what happens if you turn off email notifications?
Musicman · 61-69, MVIP
@Queendragonfly A mixture of all the above. Fortunately I don't have to respond to most of them. It would drive me crazy if I did. I wouldn't know how to turn off notifications.
