I noticed Microsoft Rewards Points just now

Wow, I have 200 points in a little over 2 months. 🙂
These are awarded for using the Bing search engine.
I will be eligible for a $5 Microsoft or X-Box gift card when I reach 3000 points. 🫨
I find Bing rather pathetic if truth be told.
I once entered a query, using Australia in the query. I got everything but not once did anything concerning Australia show up.
I use Google search engine as often as possible.

I would rather use duckduckgo. They are a conglomerate of search engines. Plus they are well known for privacy.

Here’s a comprehensive list of sources that DuckDuckGo has utilized:

Bing
Yelp
Wikipedia
DuckDuckGo’s own web crawler
WebCrawler
Twitter
The New York Times
Wikimedia Commons
News APIs
Specialized APIs (for specific industries or content)

This list includes the major sources DuckDuckGo has used over time.

Must mention that ChatGPT is being very obtuse on listing all sources.

When it says "News APIs" it means all the major networks. Including (major networks like CNN, BBC, Reuters, etc.)

I had to pull ChatGPTs teeth out, one by one, just to get this list. ChatGPT was acting like a dog pulling on its favorite rope.

A soppy "gift-card" for nowt useful, seems a good enough reason to avoid Bing...
