Linux may be on to something

I'm still getting a legacy PC for win 7, but I think Linux can run on any modern PC. I think Linux also is way more versatile than it was in the beginning. I've used windows all my life and fear the change, but Microsoft has forced me into this with their forced crap like tpm snapshots, one drive, copilot etc. It feels like a federal wiretap. Linux is free too and with a couple of add ons ons I think native software can launch similar to windows. **** Windows 11, the ad obsessed most invasive crap is ever to exist.

I have a10 year old Microsoft surface pro 3...
I loaded cinnamon mint onto it without a problem... All hardware detected and works straight away, no messing about... The one thing I miss from ms is access
