My laptop died and now I have a new one

Woke up this morning and the lappie would not start up. Nowt I could do.
Went to a computer store and got me another one.
Of course I lost some information but I have managed to get on line again.
All my pictures are still on my SLR Camera so I never lost them.

My iPad died on me about a month ago and had to get a new one . I like iPads but this new one has a different setup in a few things that I don’t like as well.
A new computer takes time to get set up and unless you have everything in the cloud or backed up somehow, you can lose many things. Hopefully you can recover everything you need in time.

I have learned the hard way. iPads can’t fly , we’ll they fly ok but the landing is a little rough, iPads can’t swim they don’t even like to wadefor some reason. 😂
Sorry to hear about your laptop , it always makes things difficult with changing over.

@HootyTheNightOwl yes they can do great at that, it’s the landings that get them . I’d bet they would do fantastic skipping across the water like flat rocks did when I was younger 😂

@Repete They were never intended to work again by the time I got my hands on them.

My reason for asking has more to do with ideas on how to deconstruct them if I ever have to do that again.

@HootyTheNightOwl iPads live a little longer than phones in my hands lol. I don’t carry a phone very often any more and never on a boat.
