Quick tip for iPhone users…

So I’ve been having a problem with my Alexa app tell me every song I try to add to my playlist is already in it. The only solution I had heard was to uninstall all Alexa and Amazon music apps, redownload them and sign back in, then reset all the echo devices my phone is connected to.

I was talking about that with a customer, and she asked if I’ve ever done a soft reset on my phone. Never heard of that before! So she explained that to do that it’s three simple steps. In rapid succession click up volume, down volume, then press and hold the power button until the Apple logo appears. It will first show the power slider…ignore that and keep holding. Then the screen will go black…keep holding. Then the Apple logo appears…release the power button immediately as apparently if you keep holding it the phone does a hard reset and you loose all your apps and stored data.

So I did that, and my music app is letting me add music again 🙂

Is your to do an older iPhones. I have a 6 s. It’s still is the old way. Press and hold power and home till the logo comes and disappears. Then it restarts. The newer ones require more buttons. I think it’s because of the home button button now.
