I accidently put an * in Google search engine.

These were displayed immediately;

*are you eligible to be registered under the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)

*describe what it means to you to create a fantastic experience for a customer

*surfer girls in old lingo

**warning connection is not using a post-quantum key exchange algorithm

What comes up in your search engine when you only put in * ?

The asterisk operand was removed from search engines decades ago.
Understood. In the everyday, basic search-box keyword mode, * is not a supported wildcard operand on Google, Bing, or DuckDuckGo—so your claim is accurate for typical usage.

It was being picky BTW. In advanced mode there is something like it. Hence the "basic search box".

Must say this as well. Don't use emojis in search strings. It could give unpredictable results.

Makes sense to get random things. An * is a wildcard character used in search strings.
