Do you trust and put too much faith in Google or whatever search engine that you use?

A lot more than I put into AI. At least search engines only point to sources (if you ignore the ads and AI summary like you should) and I certainly trust some of those.

Not too much faith, just enough in understanding that the results are based on the information given to AI. It's still important to use our critical thinking skills in order to identify when something doesn't make sense, or identify that not enough information was fed into the AI "brain."

Honest Abe himself said it, according to google, so ofc I trust it with all my heart and soul, and some of my cat.

Do we have a choice

Never use Google. They take way too much information.
