I can remember when 8-track players were a new thing, and I’d bet money you don’t even know what that is 😂

@Zaphod42 huh ? 8 track player ?

@Zaphod42 Vinyl will always still be best :) Cassettes were also alright.

Cassettes are why 8-tracks didn’t last…cassettes can rewind to hear the same song twice in a row 😂

And again, I’d bet the OP has no idea the relationship between a #2 pencil and a cassette tape 😂 @ShadowWolf

@Zaphod42 Haha ya, that's why my knowledge of 8 tracks comes from working on older cars...I wasn't technically around for 8 track, but I've seen them, and my dad complained how much they sucked. In the 80s-90s cassettes were king. I was only a kid in the 90s, but i remember having like kids music on cassette tapes. Also VHS, that was a thing. And rofl regarding the #2 pencil vs cassette tape comment :). Really man, the same thing goes for cars. I know how to work with carbs and distributors. I also know how to diag an engine without plugging in a scan tool. Ya know, young mechanics today can't even use their eyes, ears, and nose to diag. They rely on a computer. It's sad.

@Zaphod42 they installed those 8-track players underneath the dash and drivers would be driving down the road and grab one of their 8-tracks to swap out after the previous one was finished and have a wreck. I remember reading about several wrecks here caused by that.
