Kingston SSD 2Tb external harddrive

Some weeks ago I bought a Kingston SSD 2Tb external harddrive from a computer shop in Sweden. Its a very small and lightweight little external harddrive in a nice metallic-red color but with a huge storage-capacity just slightly bigger than a USB-stick. SSD stands for Solid State Disc and has no movable parts inside that can crash with time. I have it permanently connected to my laptop incase I have to store anything. Maybe I buy one more anytime.

If it is connected via USB then SSD speed will be reduced to USB.

I'd install it in the laptop itself. All the new ones come with 2 slots these days.

Yes external one has the benifit of portability...

@Khenpal1 If you for example want to save many passwords then its better to use a cloudbased password manager instead of an external harddrive.

@Northwest I bought it some weeks ago. Yes SSD 2Tb and bigger will be cheaper and cheaper now.

@SwedenGuy It is getting more expensive. I bought one a few months ago for less than $200. It is $440 now.

I prefer to pay for cloud storage which is accessible from multiple devices - plus I once had a problem with an external device which failed and became unreadable.
