I don't understand why anyone still buys/builds a PC tower anymore

You can get a serious high powered laptop, that can handle the most intense games, for 2k or less. And it's portable. And there are high quality usb powered aux monitors to add screenspace. I guess some people are just too old school to know there are sweet new options.

to me, it's a matter of preference, modern gaming laptops are impressive, but Towers can make hardware changes and upgrades are easier especially if you know enough to do it yourself.
