There all crap software packages. You don't need these packages as there full of pop ups and other things you don't need. To get past the slowness you fundamentally need an SSD and plenty of memory. That would be the best combination
@TheGentleGiant You still need to clear memory and free space, system mechanic pro helped keep my to previous latops, two desktops, current laptop, as well as my mother's desktop, all running as if brand new. A weekly scan is/was all they need(ed).

It's a crap cleaner temp file cleaner it won't make the computer faster. What are your symptoms let's start there.
@TheGentleGiant You're a bit late to the discussion, I already recommended the program he needs, to which an advanced computer user essentially agrees with me.

I used to use it ten years ago and I liked it but cannot say how it is now
@Lilnonames I just use it now to clean free space, I rely on system mechanic pro the most for my laptop.
Ccleaner is a decent free program, but I prefer to pay for the more powerful Iolo System Mechanic Pro, which also includes an anti virus and malware protection.
