Veracrypt Volume Limitation

I've just been playing with this on a Slackware (Vn 15.0) Linux machine. I can create an outer (ext4) volume but, although I have over 1TB free, the maximum size for the inner (hidden) volume is just 8MB. The documentation says this is an OS limitation, not a Veracrypt one. Is there any way of overcoming this or is there a Liinux distro. that doesn't have that limitation? .

There has to be a way around it. I don't know what it would be, but it's Linux, there must be a way to fix it.
No idea if you will find this helpful. 🤷‍♂😆
The AI on Brave browser has been extremely helpful in setting up a security camera system, so I posed your question...
😆 It's got more info than I could ever post here, and some options that seem like they might be useful...
Install a Brave browser and see if maybe it helps? 🤷‍♂ It's very easy. 😄

@UnderLockDown Thanks. I'll take a look at it.
