My phone is doing something weird

It's like buttons are being pressed when they aren't. I reset the phone yesterday when it did it, and it did it again this morning. I did a hard reset, where you hold down the power button and volume down for 10 seconds, when the phone came back up, it was like it didn't do the hard reset.

I think it may be time for a new phone 😔

Yeah 'ghost touches' can be many things. I'd make sure any software is up to date and if you've added any apps recently you could try uninstalling them.

You could also try removing the screen protector (if you're using one) and give the screen a really good clean.

I mean you're probably right if the phone's old and had plenty of use might of just had it's time but it could also be something quite simple.

My phone is always doing weird things, but I don’t think it’s actually the phone. I have called people, sent messages to the wrong person, and a myriad of other things. Don’t think a new phone will help me.

Sadly I agree with you. Plus I know with Samsung phones when they have a new model come out they make your phone act up for a few months trying to get you to upgrade. They definitely don't want phones to last anymore.

@Musicman my LG Stylo 4 lasted me a good 6 full years. Couldn't use Snapchat on it anymore but I had to get a new phone once the messaging app started acting funny.

Wish LG wouldn't have dropped out of the phone market because it is a more quality phone than Samsung is.
