I'm not raising tablet kids.

My kids play outside. Call me crazy. They get like an hour or two of TV a night. They attend sports, nature club, the zoo, parks, we live in the woods so they have a huge playset. (Literally made from rachet straps with swings and things attached between trees. Take the tablets away. I had some for my kids and quickly realized it was a no for me.

My kids gave my grandkids my 8 year and 12 year cellphones already. I don't even own one yet

My other son and daughter in-law gave their 4 and 6 years cellphones and they bought a farm to.

I'm glad cellphones don't work on my farm or in my area. We still have landmine telephones. But the phone company is trying to shut them down.

@HumanEarth my 8 year old has a phone for safety reasons she's in sports and I need to have her location if something happens. The coach is a friend so she often drives her

We I didn't have them in the 70s and 80s. We had payphones called collect then hung up after they got the message. 😊😊😊

We just ran the streets till the street lights came on

@HumanEarth yes but furring those times there were far less creeps trying to abduct and k'll kids. Les 🔫 violence too. I have a hidden GPS for my child's safety. It's not a lack of trust for her but a lack of trust for the world

@HumanEarth my kids are also in self defense. However there are safer options now and I'd rather she have the phone. She's also been told just hide the phone don't talk about it or let them see it. Id rather they have it. We all do what we think is best for our kids
