Help!! I need advice on phone upgrades.

Help, there must be some tech savvy people out there who can advise.

I'm in the UK with EE, currently have an Huawei p30 pro, I've been trying to upgrade for over a year but just can't find a phone that exceeds this one that isn't going to cost me a ridiculous amount each month. I can't get the new Huawei as I need Google services and I'm absolutely stumped what to have next. I used to upgrade through carphone warehouse who were fab at advising about these things but can no longer upgrade through them with EE. 😭🤦‍♀️ HELP!

You should get a pixel can’t go wrong with a pixel it’s androids iPhone equivalent like iPhone to Apple.

@woodyemma2013 the best does not exist. Especially with so much fragmentation in android. That’s the lame thing about android. So many to choose from and none have it all. It’s why I just buy Apple has draw backs but I don’t need to speculate on anything. It’s not perfect but for my daily driver it’s good enough. Android is more of a flex it’s better than x y or z. The only one who knows the diference between devices is the owner.

@woodyemma2013 i had a pixel 4xl... Excellent camera but it died lol...i ended up getting a Chinese phone... An oppo... Cheap at mid$300 mark but a great phone... Camera is not as good but the rest is excellent...

@Convivial I had considered the new pixel but heard bad reviews about battery life which put me off. Fact of the matter is carphone warehouse have ruined my upgrade options by talking me into this huawei phone 4 years ago when I'd actually gone in for the new don't one 😂🤣 it's been a good phone but is definitely starting to wear out now

Have you looked at the Google Pixel 6a or 7? You may have to purchase the phone outright..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I have but it just doesn't seem to tick all the boxes some how, it's the nearest I've found so far though that or the Samsung s23 ultra

@woodyemma2013 Samsung screens and iPhones screens are the same manufacturer so they are on par. But pixel has more vanilla OS
