Are you able to type accurately without looking at the screen or the keyboard?

I had a teacher once that was able to type while not looking at the screen and could multi-task. For me, I still use the good old hunt-and-peck method although I've gotten a little better over the years.

If you are interested in increasing your speed you need to follow the Tech-2 method or the Michael Shestov System. The keyboard is designed to SLOW DOWN your speed because it was made for mechanical typewriters when errors were impossible to correct accuracy was more important than speed.

I still need to look when I type, however, I use multiple fingers (not all of them) and can type pretty fast. I had my kids take typing classes in school and both can type without looking.

Yes. When I learned to type in grade 7, we had covers on the keyboard, so you couldn't see the letters.
Decently, but my HS typing teacher wouldn't be impressed.
