My smart phone reads my mind!

My watch died few weeks ago so I decided to get a new battery.
I didn’t say out loud I was only thinking about it.

I just googled where to, not even finished my question and yet I could read - where to get a watch battery near me appeared in first suggested line.

I was stunned and I didn’t like that.
It’s like big brother!

No, it’s big Corporations. Brother has been relegated to history’s trash bin. It’s being called a NWO or facsimile.
Sad to say Re: smartphones/ watches, smart etc., without them many would be lost, left behind. The proverbial ” double edged sword”.

@soar2newhighs Good point, although I don't understand the two colloquialisms. Big corporations, and very few of them; and with far too much influence and control.

They are pushing us ever more to working and living as they want for their benefit though camouflaged by disingenuous claims like "now we all....". Nevertheless, it is still possible to live without being slaves to little boxes of electronics. The trick is see the gadgets as tools we use in our lives to our advantage; not to warp our lives to fit them.
@ArishMell What was a “ mom & pop” shop morphed into a big box store, and the individual creator, entrepreneur morphed into the corporate giant.
Old phrase, “ buyer beware”. We have to break out of the “ zombie” if you will, just follow along. We need to e er use many induct strengths and means of getting through each day.

@soar2newhighs All the big companies started in a small way; but it is still rather up to us how much we encourage them. The difficulties start when they become near-monopolies, like Microsoft and Amazon.
