who the hell spends over $1000 on a phone?

Broke my mobile phone today and despite being happy over that, I have been getting nagged at all day from numerous people including my bosses about having to have a mobile phone so I can be contacted.
what a world we live in now 🙄

Anyway, just looked up phones thinking $100 is way more than i would ever need to get a phone and shocked to see phone cases are more than $100 now.
Phones are going for over a thousand dollars. that is absurd to me.
crazy people actually spend that amount of money on such things.

We should go back to the days of sending ravens or pigeons or whatever to each other instead haha. That is the world I want to live in

I buy a new phone when my current phone stops working. I’m willing to pay more so I can use the same phone for awhile. I’m not going to buy a cheaper phone because they tend to have a problem being reliable to use. I have a friend who uses the cheapest phone he can get from the phone companies. He’s always cursing his phone and recently just broke it. I don’t have the problems with my iPhone that he has with his.
