No, my cat is actually very sweet and gentle, but VERY afraid of strangers. It takes him a year, or sometimes two, to feel comfortable enough with specific people to come out from under the bed when a stranger is here.

She sounds like my grandmother’s cat. I was terrified of that cat as a child.
