Often I do, bears, raccoons, opossums, a black racer snake that lives around my well house and is at least 5 feet long he has gotten used to me and has joined me on the side porch a few times. Recently I encountered him while he was killing and eating a dangerous copperhead snake in my side yard. Foxes, wild pigs, a few bobcats.

I have come close to a lot of wild animals, but only a fewuncomfortable ones with snakes and one with a gator.

Once, when I was visiting friends, I helped carry something out by the trash cans and we saw a big raccoon. We yelled, it threw a can at us (I didn’t know they could do that) and ran off.
