Having a dog from the time it's just a little puppy, and spending years with that presence by your side, is something everyone should experience.

At least once. The ending is really hard, but the life experience that comes from sharing your time and experiences with that other creature that is so emotionally devoted to you is just an unspeakably grand thing.

Sorry, I'm feeling nostalgic, and remembering what it was like to have a dog...🥺

My dogs are getting old. I am worried about what my life will be when they’re gone.

@itsok it’s so tough to lose them but it gives you an opportunity to pour your love into another pupper down the line. I still mourn my previous dog Cloe but I’m so grateful for my puppy Cassie.

Honestly, having a dog is AT LEAST as important to me as having children
Absolutely… you love them like children… especially if they are house dogs…

Dogs are awesome but saying good bye when the time comes is so very difficult.
