I have a low opinion of people that have no love for animals.

Can't help it, just the way it is.🤷‍♂️

I know people who are afraid of animals, either because of bad experiences or because they weren’t raised around them. Often that changes exponentially once they adopt their first pet.
But I have no regard for those who are cruel to animals. There’s no excuse for that. 🤬

Yeah but sometimes what people mean by love isn't all that simple. Someone wanting a pet might not necessarily mean they care for the animals.
I've heard of situations where people took in animals and they couldn't take care of them and they were in a bad state or even died.
When you get a pet you have to know they're a responsibility. You can't just say "Oh I'm lonely, I don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend yet so I'll get a pet for now." But then later on you find yourself having too much things to do and still want to date, and not enough time to care for the animal.

I've seen people too who care for one type of animal and totally heartless for other types.
I love cows... yummy nummy scrumptious cows 🥰

What do you think of people who have love for animals but no love for human beings?
@Adstar this is what I’m saying.. I hope in the apocalypse I hook up with someone who can stomach blood.. no way I could slaughter a beast for food. 😁
@Adstar They gotta love somebody, maybe it's impatience with people.

@UnderLockDown I have observed people watching news reports of murdered Children and they have not reacted at all, but later in the same news bulletin they have been brought to tears about the story of a suffering aminal.. Makes you wonder..

I'd never have one for an indoor pet. I often like them as other people's pets, though.

Yes it's a reflection of their connection with the world

I agree.

That's why we had 8 cats (we're down to 4). It wasn't our intent, we rescued a cat a few months ago, and the week we were going to get her spayed, she gave birth. On my adult step-sons bed in the middle of the night, I can't help but laugh. It sucked getting them all spayed (mama too) and ready for a home. But it's all worth it in the end.

Animals are great. They're basically innocent, and full of love. Many of them taste great as well
