No. You can't punish a cat. Punishment doesn't register in a cats brain. I cat then thinks wtf is your problem, you're crazy and goes and takes a shit in your bed. So no, punishing a cat is a definite way to have the cat bring you more problems.

Lol, why? It's not like it will understand. I brought the cat to love it and keep me company, so I expect these things to happen. Anyway, none of my cats have done this before, it's usually me or some other person. Should I punish them?

I wouldn’t even know how to punish a cat lol I’m honestly never around cats so I don’t even know what to do with them ? I feel like dogs are a lot easier to train and understand a bit more I don’t know 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m very ignorant towards cats all I know is that they’re cute so I wouldn’t know what to do since idk how they are as pets. I’d probably just be annoyed and clean it up.
