i genuinely don’t understand people who get rid of their animals because they’re moving and their new place doesn’t allow pets. 😭

i’m sorry, but there is NO way i could ever give up my baby. i’d pass up any house, apartment, whatever, if it meant giving up my dog.

she is FAMILY. she’s my first baby, and i made a commitment to her. i’d find another place, figure something out, do whatever i had to do but giving her up would never be an option. 🥺🤍🐾

This girl is my whole life, she asks very little of me and has been there for me when others left.
I made a committment to her the day she came home with me, I'd be by her side until the end.

I see this on Facebook all the time. I literally lived in an apartment that was crappy as hell for years because I refused to move without my cat, Luke, He's my ride or die.

@glossyheart I was telling the vet once about him, and she said we are bonded. If I did leave him he might get depressed. Not eat, etc. I couldn't live without him either.

The streets are a rough place to be... worse still when you have a pet that might or might not cope well in that environment.

They're bad people. They would do the same with kids if the law allowed it

I get it if it's a hamster they bought last month but a pet they've had for years? I can't imagine that either and I have never even had a pet myself.
