Addie needs to go to the vet

Her itchiness is getting worse, and she has a big lump on her leg. She is limping.

I feel so guilty and like a bad mum.

I know what it is, I'm sure... The lump is hard. 😔

I've been avoiding talking about this but I'm worried. She has never been a healthy dog, unfortunately, and has always had auto-immune issues.

I am not ready to lose her and want to do what I can for her. I love her so much.

I get that, i know you love her, you're right though, get her to the vet. Then you'll know what you're dealing with.

I got a good extra year with my Sasha who i lost this year because there was steps non invasive that helped

I’m a vet. I can’t diagnose anything, but perhaps I can reduce some anxiety if you give some details about how it looks, etc. And how old and what breed your pupper is. At least what to be prepared to hear/do.

I know it's sad. I would too if something was wrong with my cat. Please though, because you love her, take her to the vet. I'll be sending healing vibes to her and positive vibes to you.

It can be easier to be in denial, but you're right that it's good to go to the vet. Going may allow you to do what you can for her.

There is a lice plague going on right now. All my dogs have it and I'm going into bathtime right away.

@caccoon I have to bathe both dogs and the cat and ensure everywhere they hang out is sanitized. So there's uh... logistical challenges.

It's very hard but just remember the love you gave her. She could had an abuse owner but she didnt. Im sure you did your best to give her a good life filled with care. I know its just words but it does help a little with the pain. I hope it's a benign lump
