i didn't think my roommates dog would come home

but this was the car ride yesterday ❤❤ he's been breathing just find and acting his silly self. he has an appointment next week to determine which meds he may need for the remainder of his life, which can be discontinued

my roommate thought he had max for another eight years. unfortunately life expectency for a dog with heart failure is about a year. but thats 364 days more than we expected two nights ago c:

scree shots of my other pics bc for some reason it wont post them as they are :I

That sounds terrifying, and I’m glad he was able to come home.
My dog is now at 3 years in heart failure, and still feeling great. Her cough isn’t fully controlled by her meds anymore, but she has her annual on Monday and we’ll adjust her meds. She takes 3 different meds, and she eats a prescription cardio kibble

I had a King Charles that genetically develop heart valve disease. That year became 3 with good care.

Doggos always seem happiest when they are with their pack. Humans are just strange looking dogs to them but they love their people.

Little dogs can be amazingly resilient. Enjoy the time you have left!
