my roommate thought he had max for another eight years. unfortunately life expectency for a dog with heart failure is about a year. but thats 364 days more than we expected two nights ago c:

That sounds terrifying, and I’m glad he was able to come home. My dog is now at 3 years in heart failure, and still feeling great. Her cough isn’t fully controlled by her meds anymore, but she has her annual on Monday and we’ll adjust her meds. She takes 3 different meds, and she eats a prescription cardio kibble
