I don’t believe dogs should be left outside..

I just don’t agree with it, I believe dogs should be treated like part of the family.. they should be loved and kept warm not left outside in all weathers.

Some people buy dogs and treat them so badly it actually breaks my heart 💔

With the exception of some guardian dogs, that were bred to handle the weather, I agree. My dogs slept in my bed, or next to it. They are meant to be companions, not something to be looked at through a window without any direct contact.
As for those that claim, "It's a guard dog.", NO!! It's a freakin' noise maker that keeps the neighbors awake, and won't be able to guard you very well from the back yard!! If your dog is expected to protect you, wouldn't it be easier, and more effective, if the dog has direct access to your person?🤦‍♂️

@UnderLockDown Totally! Makes more sense the dog is with you. My favourite is when the dog is chained so it can't get anyone anyway?! wft.

In those situations, I don't feel bad just stealing their dog.

@UnderLockDown A guard dog acts first as an alarm. When my dog wouldn't shut up I knew something was up. It's useless if he starts barking when the assailant are already on the inside.

@UnderLockDown mmmh I get your point but if you lived in an area where burglars are a legitimate everyday threat then dogs in the yard at night is a definite bonus. Dogs are bred for many different purposes and there are no rules that say they can’t overlap.
