Always in awe of cats.

definitely true

Well, I am not superstitious so don't believe in magic energies and elementals, but I agree cats do indeed move in mysterious ways their instincts to perform!

I used to work for an organisation that had an Intranet staff chat-group a bit like this one - though not anonymous and it was rather more circumspect than much of SW.

One day someone posted on its 'Pets and Animals' section a question something like:

"What psychology do cats have?"

Predictably this elicited a string of unscientific but amusing anecdotes from the staff of professional scientists, engineers and admininstrators, of their beloved moggies' daft antics. Our family had a cat itself, but rather than describing his eccentricities I posted,

"Cats don't have psychology. They just are."
“Owners of dogs will have noticed that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they will think you are god. Whereas owners of cats are compelled to realize that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they draw the conclusion that they are gods.”

@sunsporter1649 Very true. I believe that is a quote from Terry Prachett.
