@Matt85 yes he got me. I gotta learn how to trim his nails. Vet said they could do it but I want to pay every month to have it done

@Cigarguy It can help if you make a bit of a fuss when the claws are engaged. I used to yell and it seemed to work.

@Cigarguy I've never tried it, but you can get those nail caps (Soft Paws). Price wise it's more, cause though they're cheap. They eventually grow out with the nail or just pop off. Then have new ones put on.
Someone can do it for you, or your can apply them. But if he doesn't freak out, when you clip him. That's your cheapest and easiest, best bet.

@Levenrack i just worry they'll be running from a dog or something at wont be able to jump up a tree or fence.

@Matt85 he's a indoor cat and we don't have a dog. Plus it's not declawing him it's just tripping the claw down so they aren't so sharp

@Levenrack yeah I've been looking into different ways. So far he's only gotten me with this claws. Just my luck. I'll probably just let the vet do it. I don't know 😔.

@Matt85 I literally don't have a clue , how to prevent that and allow them to climb. Cause we've only had indoor cats. Big big city lights, don't treat them very kindly.

@Levenrack I think they can still climb if you just trim them. But he's indoor only. Id worry he's getting ran over or something if I let him out.

@Levenrack but I'll let you in on a little secret. I don't know shit about cats. I don't know why he does what he does and why he jumps on everything. Other than he's trying to kill me
