Nope. Depends entirely on how the cat was raised from a kitten. 😉

@4meAndyou Not my experience. Outdoor cats, same litter, same treatment, not socialized. Tomcats came to us on their own and let us pet them, cats stayed away. It happened at least in two generations.

@CrazyMusicLover Outdoor cats are different, too. Always more independent and a little wilder. But any cat will come to you if you feed them.

@4meAndyou That's true. I just found this observation interesting and always wondered why tomcats seemed to literally come to us for pets anytime while cats were always distrustful and only let us pet them while fed and then they licked their fur right away. Maybe they hate our smell, haha.
