Do you scold your cats when they catch mice and birds?

No. I had a feral kitten, that I ended up raising. Fed him well and took good care of him, but he was wired as a hunter. Birds, mice, rats, squirrels... Never felt like I should try an alter instinctive behavior.

@BizSuitStacy But he was wiping out nice creatures like birds and squirrels.
@NankerPhelge cats are predators. It's what they do.

@BizSuitStacy They are wonderful creatures in other ways, but they need to be kept away from other creatures that they can kill.
@NankerPhelge well...where I live now, we have coyotes, bobcats, wolves, wolf-hybrids, black bears and mountain lions. They kill squirrels, birds, rabbits...oh...and people cats. Do you think we should keep those predators away from those others creatures?
