@beermeplease My Grandfather was as well, but he'd still take his pill and enjoy his ice cream, those pills may stop the gut pain, but not the paint peelers.

@NativePortlander1970 i didn't develop it until later in life but mom said i had the worst baby poo of all the babies on the planet...yeah i know...tmi 🙄

@beermeplease My oldest brother was given goat milk because it doesn't have lactose.

@NativePortlander1970 more adults are probably more lactose intolerant than they think. humans are the only species of mammals that drink milk after infancy. i loved milk as a kid. mmmmm dunking pb sandwiches in milk ir a bowl of cereal...i do buy lactose free milk but it's expensive

@beermeplease My oldest brother tried it once and said it tasted gross.

@beermeplease As for me, I lucked out in the family with milk, but I do have other food alergies, which kept me out of culinary school after high school.

@NativePortlander1970 i never drink it straight up. i'll use it in my coffee or scrambled eggs or a smoothie...yeah it doesn't taste right.
