If you were in the pet sitting business, how much would you charge...

For two dogs, full day and overnight? One middle aged dog , nine years old and a one year old dog?

I gauge $100 /day for one.. including three feedings, three walks and playtime, including overnight. But how much for two?

I honestly think $100 is enough for both. You’ve got to be more competitive than boarding.

@Adogslife this is a one year old, like a puppy ....I'm not sure if it's more walks a day yet than the other dog or together. I'm also watching the house, and do plants outside, and one dog is dog aggressive on walk. So I guess 100 could work but I do believe it's worth more for high energy dog

@Adogslife My therapist told me she paid her sitter 100 a day with no walks. Just take out to play twice a day and feed, for one dog. Eight years ago. 🤔

@Baybreeze My wife pays a friend. She drops our dog off for a full week while we’re on vacation. She pays the friend $50/day.

When the dog has a play day (at our vet’s), I’m pretty sure the 8am - 5:00pm is $47.50/day.

Those are RI numbers. If I was at work (Boston burbs), I’m betting you can get $150 for the pair. Everyone can afford it.
