Goodbye Jelly

Unfortunately we are going to have to euthanize my poor Jelly tonight :(

We got her from South Korea. What an amazing dog.

Oh no 🥺 So sorry to hear that.

May I ask why you had to make this horrible desicion?
HoeBag · 51-55, F
@TheRealBarbossa Typically when people have to make that choice, it is cause the pet is old and likely in bad health. Never easy choice but one cannot just let an animal suffer all the time.

@HoeBag I know. Not questioning his choice, just wondering what caused it.

@TheRealBarbossa Her kidney values were really bad. She has been going through stages of not eating and being sick for about a year but she would get better. Recently she has been eating but she still lost 3 lbs , down to 6 lbs which is ridiculously skinny. She stopped eating again and they did bloodwork and found that her kidney values were extremely bad. I have a feeling she had some kind of cancer. She was almost 18 and I could tell she was not happy anymore.
