I'd tell the services anyways. Number 1 is to protect the remaining animals, right? The rest, that's up to their investigating.

What were the circumstances? Did they have time to save them? I've never been in a hurricane but that is a life threatening event, so details about the circumstances are crucial.

@CrazyMusicLover I feel like if they had time to put the cats in cages, they had time to put the cats in the car.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@LordShadowfire The cats might had been in cages before and they weren't at home.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@CrazyMusicLover I certainly hope that's the case, but it sounded like they made the decision to put them in them.

No, why would I. Its pretty clear what happined. They locked the cats up, the house flooded the cats died. It's a natural disaster. Why would I not mind my own business and leave other people alone?

@Terminal I'm glad I didn't say the rest of what I was thinking. I've been known to hold people accountable for simple misunderstandings as if they knew. Leads to whole awkward situations with apologies later.

Yes, immediately. Poor animals, they don't deserve to be trapped

LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
I absolutely would. That's unconscionable.
