I don't use those. I lightly spray a towel with OFF repellent, let the towel dry completely, then place it over their favorite sleeping spot. Haven't had fleas in several years and I haven't had to use the repellent for 2 years now.

@perceptivei Don't even need direct contact, I only spray a portion of the towel and lay it down so there is a layer of untreated fabric between the cat and the spray. During bad seasons, when the flea population was crazy, I treated the beds once per week. Usually after heavy rains we have flea hatches like crazy, but I have only seen one flea this year.

[@perceptivel] 🤔we have a house cat and we use flea meds on her 😆that is hard work in itself lol. we use advantage on her but jess stiil scrats but it is what the vet supplies never used revolution

Is your cat an outside cat? My indoor cat has never had fleas so I've never needed to be concerned about this.

@MarineBob They just went to the vet yesterday. The doctor didn't really have any opinion on which one is better. She was more focused on getting rid of heartworms and other things all in one. Many times the owners of pets have quality opinions on which brand/ingredient works best.
