I just realized that the best people I've ever met are the ones who take their dogs to dog parks

And it makes sense. It takes emotional intelligence to care about more than just yourself.

The best or the worst. I can't even count how many idiots who shouldn't have animals bring their aggressive or poorly socialized dogs in to our local dog park. It got so bad, we had to stop going and find a new, smaller group of dogs for mine to play with.

@BigAssLeech Yeah, there's definitely some of that too. Although in my experience, it is less common in dog parks than it is in neighborhood parks or even residential areas. Idiots tend not to make the effort to go all the way to a designated dog park.

dog parks are the best places on earth 😭 so happy and playful and everyone is so friendly

@ginnyfromtheblock People are so nice and so chill there. I was offered beer and snacks last night by some people that were just hanging out with their dogs. Never met them before. I've also been invited out to dog-friendly bars, I've been offered weed a couple times, people share their treats and toys with my dogs pretty regularly, and they leave toys behind for other dogs to play with.

People actually give a damn about each other there. It really feels like a community
One of t he reasons I enjoy "Jordan The Lion" on You Tube He takes his dog (Jah) to the dog park just about everyday.

[c=002673]Be sure to let the dog leave a big pile for the city employees to clean up.
After all, WE'RE paying THEIR salaries! Stinking government employees!!! [/c]
😡
PS I wonder how long before the wine kicks in?
