I Hate When People Apologize Without Any Reason

One of my pet peeves is hearing people apologize when they haven't done anything wrong such as walking towards you, but not stepping aside. You don't need to apologize for that.

I once ran over a kids fingers with my supermarket trolley , I turned to his mother the words in my mouth to apologize and then I though wtf was she doing letting him roll around the floor anyway. I shut my mouth and walked off.
I retold this story at work the following day and the woman I worked with congratulated me :)
