I am in a weird headspace, I am not sure if being here is a healthy option for me right now.

Probably not, I am doing a lot of work on myself but I am feeling like I am slipping a bit right now on some things and it doesn't feel great. I don't know this isn't a goodbye message, not that anyone would give a shit here LOL. I am just thinking out loud I guess or talking to myself. I am on the fence, I wish I could talk to people in real life like I can here.

The path to self-improvement is rarely a straight shot. There are times the trail winds sideways and backwards and you just gotta trust the process. It can feel like a heavy burden because we're taking on new habits and modalities as we shed our old unhealthy ones.

The one thing I would say after years of working on myself is just don't feel like you have to rush things. It sounds easy to simply cut out all the things we don't like at once, but really you just gotta learn ween yourself off gradually. Otherwise you might feel burnt out and fall back into old familiar habits. It's like rehab, I guess.

While you're here, you should definitely try to do more thinking out loud and talking to folks. It's a good medium for getting stuff off our chests and lightening our mental load

Why is this always the perennial question here? I think it's a space some come to when feel very lonely, weak, or vulnerable. Then always someone comes along saying. they await your return.. It's almost empathetic, that they are just as lonely as you, why they say that will always be here if you come back. When maybe you need to become lost in finding life and love instead of sitting on the perennial fence so many keep here.

So maybe you have found your kind, tribe, or they are holding you back when I think you desire more than online chat.
Thank you for sharing this with us. You know yourself better than anyone so if you think taking a break will be good for you, then please take care of yourself. You're very important.
But remember: if you do take a break, whether it's a week or a year, we await your return.
