If people are trying to impress someone, that is fine, but I am a long-haul kind of person.
Gimmicks, pick-up lines, or even flirting never impresses me much.
I know, I am in the minority here, and I am not laying my personality on others.
I never minded the friend zone, for myself, because I gained a friend.
I think, if one wants something substantial, it's through a lot of interaction and conversation that it is achieved.
I am not a person who is interested in instant anything.

@SW-User Hard to say but typically unless someone is under 18, they are not going to lie and say they are older. There's no reason to really.

@HoeBag You could be right, but I had a friend (on here years ago) who was in his 30s and claimed to be in his 50s. He was looking for women in their 30's. He said women in their 30's are often times looking for men in their 50's,so he faked his age. *Shrugs* I don't know, but I have learned not to take anything, on this site, at face value anymore.🫤
