Such a weird thing to do

I do not understand this at all. A user follows my profile a couple of weeks ago. I returned the follow this morning. They send pm to introduce themselves and do not even allow me time to respond before blocking me.

I dont really look at anyone's profiles. But are there any private pages? Meaning you cant see whats on it unless you're a follower? Maybe they wanted to get in for whatever reason. People are weird.
