Society needs its harmless weirdos to keep us from being too dull and serious.

There’s a guy lives near me who rides around on a bike in a Hawaiian shirt (even in winter) playing the kazoo on his way to the shop. Then he does it back again. Every day for at least 6 years.

I give him a friendly wave and he toots a bit higher in reply. My girls were a bit shy of him to begin with but now they pretend to dance to his kazoo when he’s goes past.

Weirdos need protecting. I never get depressed watching their antics compared to all the serious people on TV and social media - who are weird in their own sad little way.

Some just feel the need to wave the personal flag to show they exist.. I admit my personal expression of this during Covid was to buy funny and sarcastic tee shirts on line and wear them on my rare trips out shopping during lockdowns. A way of saying "Here I am". I have quite a collection. It seemed like a good idea at the time..😷
