another missed opportunity
back when I was young, shy and good looking, I was walking down the sidewalk of this tourist town and a jeep with three girls cruised by whistling, yelling and catcalling and I turned to see they were all looking at me...
I smiled in embarrassment and then watched them jump the centre meridian and crash rest up against a light standard.
As quick as I looked to see that they were unhurt I immediately thought that this might be that opportunity to meet some girls. .. but then my shyness took over and I just kept walking. I did feel somewhat proud that I'd caused an accident, but later convinced myself it was just another missed opportunity.
