if you are 5, I don't see why she would stop you. If you are 40, and sleeping while sucking your thumb, that's not bad either. If you are 40, and during the day, all day and every time you have free hands you suck your thumb, hmm,different story, lol...

@sammy11 I can't remember for certain but probably by 11 but I could be wrong. He's nearly 40 now.

Don't worry about it. It wouldn't really matter if you never stopped. You've been through a lot so it's a bit of comfort for you.
