It wouldn't be awkward to invite him, right?

I suck with boundaries so I need help lol.

My boss just helped me out in a way he didn't have to. I heard him recently mention that he can't afford to go to a bar/restaurant he likes. So I thought maybe I could invite him to go there and obviously pay for his side of the bill.

We've known each other for about 3 months.

So if I invite him there, it wouldn't be overstepping a bound or anything, would it?
