I Am Quiet, Shy And Socially Awkward

People get this idea in their head that you are either snobbish or unkind when you don't talk much. And that could be true for some, it is for me at least. I observe and I make judgements on who I want to/do not want to be around. But I don't see that as being snobbish or unkind. It's just a way for me to protect myself from hanging around the wrong people.

I do the same, part of it is shyness but lots of times it's also because I don't trust people very easily and I think this is a rather good quality to have. Trust is to be taken very seriously. I'm not completely incapable of trusting people but I do take my time before I let them into my life.

People (loud people) are afraid of quiet people because they don’t know what they are thinking. Loud people tell everyone else every fucking thought that pops into their pointed little head. Quiet people don’t.
