Once you were married, did you happen across the path of the love of your life?

Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
I met somebody through work as i was going through my separation.

She was smart; funny; damn good at her job which made it easier for us to work together and shifts weren't a chore.

On occasion we'd go to a gig or out for a meal or off to the theatre. We had similar interests.

But she had troubles of her own that i couldn't fix. Think she may have thought the same of me.

Good, because going from one setting right into another is risky. @Picklebobble2

@FlowersNButterflies Not even about that though is it.
Some of us know if things are wrong in our lives there’s no point in compounding a situation with somebody who is in no better position than you and for the same reasons !

@HurtMe I’ve been on my own for 9 years

Good lord, I will be getting married next year and view her as the love of my life.
I never did believe in one soul mate, but you need to make a choice and stick to it,

Good! Congratulations... @CastorTroy
I married the love of my life. Then I lost him, and our only child.

Nope. I became delusional on a couple of occasions about people who were unavailable, but recovered from that and realised I was better off without them.

I can’t say that I have. Don’t think that such a person exists. I thought so when I was married but not anymore.

Sadly the love of my life died in an accident a couple of months before our wedding ☹️

No I met him before I got married. He was definitely the love of my life
