So it's just simple but I feel that people that ghost you or block you

So I used to get very upset when I was ghosted. I had an online friend of six-ish years do it to me, mid conversation and it broke me for some time. I've changed my mind now though because I think a slow fade is far more cruel. Ghosting is cowardly but decisive. Fading is confusing and can be seriously traumatising if its from someone you like or love. So yeah. I'd still not ghost anyone, its a terrible thing to do, but at LEAST it is a clean break. 🤷‍♀️☹️

One thing that fascinates and perplexes me a bit is this expectation that people should exert a bunch of energy and time into hashing things out with a total stranger they will never meet who plays no role in their day to day real life. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Everyone has a limited amount of fnck to give in a day lol. Don’t get me wrong. I think I’ve only actually blocked one person, but if someone is being a pain in the ass or a creep I’m not going to waste a precious fnck on them 😜

I block people if I don't want to see their posts. It can be an impulse decision and in most cases I've never had any contact with them.

That stuff doesn't bother me, I know I'm not for everyone.

I never get mad at anyone for ghosting me, but it does always make me question why they did it and what I may have done that possibly made them ghost me. And than proceed to kick myself in the ass for what I think I did that made them ghost me. In some cases I'm probably right and it was something that I said/did, and in other cases I'm probably just overthinking.

Sometimes I've blocked people and when I cooled down I wanted to unblock them and try to settle it, but I know most people don't care for settling quarrels.
