I thought I defeated it [I Am Shy]

I went to therapy a few years ago, I thought the techniques I learnt and my determination helped me overcome it.

But whilst I don’t feel the nausea and physical reaction to being nervous, i’ve realised I still worry a lot about what others see and think of me, it is just more difficult for myself to tell when I’m feeling it.

That is something I hope will change from today, I think it’s long time I found people who accepted all of me, rather than the pieces that aren’t fragile.

There will be people who will happily smash those pieces, I know, but I hope they will only get stronger because of it.. I’m ready for them to be tested.

I have been shy all my life but you do get better as you go.Just concentrate on the best things, and I'm sure you have plenty. Also remember you are as good if not better than the rest. Can take a while to learn but you will get there.
