What do you mean, "deny others healing"? When I see a victim suffering I wish that person a speedy recovery unless the suffering was deserved in the first place (for example, the person suffering is a known bully), in which case that's the person who is selfish, heartless, cruel and inhuman.

@Crazychick Does anyone miss them?
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@tylertylertyler It's not that rare an occurrence.
@LadyBronte I suppose their families must miss them, but who else would?

If a person is healing themself, they don't need negative people around them, they need encouragement. Reinforcing a positive, healthy environment, and doing everything you can to ease them, and help them heal is the only humane thing to do.

@cinsac Agreed. Perfectly stated.
@LadyBronte Thank you, my mother just had her knee replaced. She is very independent, and is used to doing things for herself, but healing is a process, and that's why I'm here with her now. I have to keep telling her, mom let me do that, that's why I'm here. It takes an incredible amount of patience on my behalf, but her healing is my number one concern.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@cinsac That's as it should be - your #1 concern. Wishing her quick healing.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
Inhuman might a bit harsh, but you’re certainly correct.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Adogslife Perhaps. I was in a mood. 🤷🏼♀
Adogslife · 61-69, M
@LadyBronte So, I changed your mind. 😂
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Adogslife No, just admitting the possibility that could have been too strong a word. Not by much though, if any. 😂
Shybutwilling2bfriends · 61-69
I wouldnt try to change your mind
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
I fully agree!
Jeephikelove · 51-55, F
Exactly!!!

Who's denying what? This sounds like a potential political fight I might want to throw some anger at.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Gibbon No. Not political. Just a statement of fact in the way people treat each other. It's a control thing and it is the lowest of low.
Gibbon · 70-79, M
@LadyBronte That's true. But now I want names and cases. They deserve to be punished. Oh if only I really had the energy.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Gibbon Lol. It's the thought that counts.
Agreed

@Aysel When people are actively controlling and threateneing to another without ceasing, yes, they are denying healing.
Aysel · F
@LadyBronte Healing means taking charge of the narrative. It means being in control.
